CRITTERS (2024)

“CRITTERS” is a joyous celebration of the wonders of life on planet earth, of the world of insects in particular, asking “what would life look like if evolution had taken a slightly different direction, if insects had looked a little more human, if humans had looked a little more insect like”. So we made 3 huge humanoid insect characters: a grasshopwoman, a treecritter and a waspman, and we made over 100 insecty costumes with huge insect pincers and wings and antenna and we gathered together over 100 performers from across Donegal to go to Dublin for the St Patrick's Parade, to dance and jump about and maybe spark your imagination, to go look at insects or some of the other amazing creatures on planet earth.

The creatures also made an appearance at our annual culture night event in Letterkenny Town Park, with an added samba band, fire performers and a variety of lanterns and light sculptures
